What's my wrist-wear choice for today?
My Flavor Of The Day

Pilots seem to be my flavor of the week, so I suppose it just made sense to choose the Parnis, Big Pilot - Mechanical, with sterile dial, as my Saturday WOTD selection.
Parnis is definitely one of those brands that come to mind, when you think of bang-for-the-buck. This timepiece, considering the mechanical movement, and quality, was an absolute steal, as the price I was able to acquire this timepiece, was well below $100. There's nothing like obtaining a quality, high-end look on the wrist, for mere pennies on the dollar. I fully expected to switch-out the strap on this piece, before I received it, assuming that the strap would be average quality, at best. But to my surprise, the strap is a thickly padded, contrast-stitched, vintage-style, flieger strap, with above-average quality; so no need for a strap change, at this point.
As a flieger, you'll be hard-pressed to find a cleaner dial presentation than what this Parnis brings. And as the "Big Pilot" name implies, 47mm gives optimal dial viewing for this Type-A dial.
Co-piloting my Wrist-Game today, is a Tiger's-Eye stone, beaded bracelet, that offers a nice visual pairing, complementing the rich, Brown tones within the strap, and matte Black dial.
