Watch of the day (WOTD)

What's my wrist-wear choice for today?

My Flavor Of The Day

WOTD wrist-shot of the McDowell Time, Tidewater. Paired with a custom-crafted bracelet, designed by Beads By Gonzo.
McDowell Time, Tidewater

It's Thursday, and we're in the home stretch of the work week. And I'm excited to be able to get the McDowell Time, Tidewater Diver back on my wrist. This timepiece, arguably has one of the most vibrant hues of Blue, I've every seen in person. It may be a little too much Blue for some, but Blue just happens to be my favorite color.

The bonus with the McDowell Time brand, it's a microbrand based in Rockville, Maryland, my home state. It's fantastic to see homegrown watch concepts and watchmaking talents, and McDowell Time is quickly earning a reputation among collectors for top-notch quality, and responsive customer service.

The Tidewater exudes quality at every turn. Outside of the stunning beauty of the dial and bezel, the amazing build construction and quality of the Engineer bracelet is unmistakable. This timepiece easily has one of the best bracelets I've ever experienced. Further emphasizing the quality that McDowell Time puts into their builds, they opted to power this timepiece with a Swiss Made, Selitta, SW-200 automatic movement, and engineered this diver to withstand 200 meters of water resistance, giving this piece true diving capabilities, not just a dive look.

The Orange dial accents, a McDowell Time trademark, provide just the right amount of added dial POP (if that's possible, as great as the dial is already). Complementing the Blue and Orange color play today, is a custom-crafted bracelet, designed by Beads By Gonzo.
