For Friday, I'm closing-out the week with what is arguably the steadiest performer, within my collection, the Breitling, Avenger - Seawolf. And by steadiest, you know exactly what you're getting with this timepiece, exceptional quality, fit-and-finish, and superior timing accuracy.
While this is a timing instrument, and true tool watch in every way, the killer yellow dial, and combination of brushed and polished surfaces, affords both a fun and sporty air; not all buttoned-up and serious, all the time. For this reason, the Avenger - Seawolf is a versatile piece, and could function just as easily in more formal dress settings.
As great as this piece is, it's kind of a sleeper within my collection, mainly because, I take it's amazing specifications and build quality for granted. But every time I place this watch upon my wrist, it all comes flooding back, as to why this timepiece is so spectacular.
