Watch of the day (WOTD)

What's my wrist-wear choice for today?

My Flavor Of The Day

S. Coifman, Perpetual Calendar - Limited Edition

For my Tuesday WOTD, I dug into the deepest recesses of my watch box to retrieve this gem of a timepiece, the S. Coifman, Perpetual Calendar - Limited Edition. This timepiece is such a sleeper within my collection, for a couple of reasons. First, this is one of the few, true dress pieces I have in my current collection, with most of my watches falling into the "sport" genre. Second, this watch represents the golden age of S. Coifman, when all of their timepieces carried the "Swiss Made" designation. The perpetual calendar is just a fantastic movement. And the retrograde registers, and mixed-textured dial, gives this piece an incredibly rich look.

The leather, crocodile-embossed strap is extremely high-quality, and accentuated by one of the sturdiest, push-button clasp releases, I've seen on any brand of timepiece. The high-quality strap just adds to the presentation of the S. Coifman.

Pairing the Perpetual Calendar today, with an equally rich look with my accessory choice, the Averitas Time, Time Saver, leather bracelet. The finely sculpted, diamond pattern on the bracelet, speaks to the level of quality and workmanship put into its construction. This exquisite combination giving my Wrist-Game, a refined, CEO look today.
