My Flavor Of The Day
For Friday, I'm closing-out a busy week, with the Vostok, Amphibian - Radio Room Mod. This timepiece is undoubtedly one of my absolute favorites, and only my 2nd intricately modded timepiece, other than just a simple strap change. When done right, a modded timepiece adds to the personality and attitude of a watch, it shouldn't detract from it.
Everything about this mod was done with a clear vision and plan by the modder, as to what the end result should look like; the bezel insert plays of the dial, which is matched-up perfectly with the shark mesh bracelet, all contrasted nicely with the polished case and bezel edges. It all adds-up to one very eye-catching timepiece. You know a watch is appealing, when you spend many moments of your day, glancing at, and appreciating the beauty on your wrist.
