My Friday selection, is the Duxot, Maris Diver. Its been said, that clothes make the man. Well, the same is true regarding straps and watches, as the right strap can increase the personality, attitude, and the desire of a timepiece to be worn; such is definitely the case with this Maris Diver, now residing on a custom made, Ostrich-leg strap, crafted by Hoang Dat.
The Maris diver is highlighted by a multi-facet-cut, case design. The case design is subtle, but is an example of an ultra-cool detail of a timepiece, that can be easily overlooked, or dismissed at first glance. Then there's the dial, highlighted by multiple textures and patterns, with White index markers, against the Black matte dial and bezel, affording this timepiece, supreme visibility on land and sea.
There's no question that the strap mod on this Duxot, has definitely increased my desire to wear this timepiece; it's like discovering a new timepiece within the watch box, each time I lay eyes on it. This Maris diver has quickly found a regular spot, within my wearing rotation.
