My Flavor Of The Day
For Saturday, I decided to go minimalist with my look, with the Ag-Gre-Gate, Masonic. There have been countless attempts by watch manufacturers to capture the true minimalist effect, but many just end-up being cookie cutter looks, or direct rip-offs of established designs of known brands; not the case with the Masonic (pun intended).
Ag-Gre-Gate decided, above everything else, that the Masonic would be unique in material composition first, deciding to manufacture the case and dial of the Masonic utilizing a concrete composite material. The result, no two cases or dials are exactly alike.
For the Black example, I love Ag-Gre-Gate's use of Gray hands against the Black Dial, and Gray chapter ring, offering optimal visual contrast, and a dial that presents itself nicely.
My biggest gripe with this timepiece, was that the leather strap initially felt very cheap. However, after a bit of a break-in period, the leather strap has definitely become more soft and pliable.
