Watch of the day (WOTD)
What's my wrist-wear choice for today?
My Flavor Of The Day

It's Sunday - Funday, and that alone deserves something fun and vibrant to place on the wrist. Coming out of the gates strong for the start of March, with the modded Szanto, Danny Sulivan "Icon Series" - Racing Chronograph, that I've dubbed, the Sully GT.
There are rare times when the end result, far exceeds your expectations, and such is the case with the Sully GT. My vision, was to have a mod created, that payed homage to the Gulf-Racing watches and race cars of the past, without being a direct homage of the Tag Monaco, or similar pieces of the like. Obviously, the right Blue and Orange coloring hue would be important, but I also didn't want the use the usual vertical racing stripes on the dial, giving the modder full artistic license to utilize his own vision. The end result, a very dramatic, and unique interpretation of the Gulf Racing timepiece.
The colors used within the dial are spot-on, and to finish the look, I added a Blue, Straton Watch Company, non-round, 3-hole, leather racing strap, with Orange contrast stitching of course; making the Sully GT, a true, racing-inspired timepiece.
Completing the racing look, is the addition of a marine-grade, rope bracelet, designed by Ropelet UK, the only thing missing, the Gulf Racing logo. With this wrist-combo, my Wrist-Game is poised for victory lane!
