My Flavor Of The Day
For my Thursday WOTD, I'm heading into the homestretch of the work week, wearing a true gem, the Sturmanski, Mars - Cosmonaut Trainer. This piece is a design and engineering marvel; from the floating dial / movement, anti-magnetic properties, and baked enamel case and dial inserts, able to withstand high heat tolerances, average is not a word reserved for this piece. And with this design-build and engineering, you can see why this timepiece is the official timepiece, issued to the Russian Astronaut trainees.
At 47mm, the Mars is no wall-flower, and commands plenty of wrist presence. And bonus for me, as I happen to love the Black and Orange color combination in a timepiece. As imposing as this timepiece is, the rubber strap affords a comfortable wear on the wrist.
As an accessory, I'm opting for what is probably the best matched combination piece, currently within my collection; a custom-crafted bracelet, designed by Beads By Gonzo. My Wrist-Game with this combo, is hotter than the Red Planet itself!
