Watch of the day (WOTD)
What's my wrist-wear choice for today?
My Flavor Of The Day
For Saturday, breaking out a piece that hasn't been worn in quite some time, in the Grayton, Classic Pilot. This piece is definitely another sleeper within my collection, and is a timepiece that caught me off guard a bit, exceeding my expectations.
The Grayton represents one of the last Black subscription timepieces I acquired through Watch Gang. I didn't receive many automatic timepieces during my 6-month subscription test, so I was glad to see that this piece was an automatic. The applied numerals and index markers on the dial, lend to almost a 3-D visual effect; relieved that they didn't opt to use a printed dial. The case and bracelet exhibits excellent, detailed finishing , with a hidden clasp closure, affording the clean look of a continuous bracelet.
My accessory choice, as co-pilot to the Classic Pilot, is a Pose bracelet, designed by Dorsal Bracelet Company, which captures the muted Gray and Silver tones of the dial, in a perfectly complementary matter.
