Watch of the day (WOTD)

What's my wrist-wear choice for today?

My Flavor Of The Day

Hager Watch, Aquamariner Diver

My Sunday selection, is a timepiece that I've been looking to add to the collection for over a year, ever since my first visit to the 2018 District Time event, held in Washington DC. During the event, which caters specifically to the microbrand industry, I came across a brand, by the name of Hager Watches, based in Hagerstown, MD. Always wanting to represent my home State, I knew I'd have to add a Hager timepiece to my collection. Luck finally met opportunity, and I recently acquired this highly sought-after timepiece, the Hager Watches, Aquamariner.

This timepiece is exceptional, and was more than worth the wait. The fit-and-finish of the Aquamariner timepiece, far exceeds its price point, with a build quality on par with timepieces many multiple hundreds, if not thousands dollars more. This timepiece is kind of a hybrid / mashup between two classic dive watch styles between the Rolex Submariner and Tudor Black Bay, but the design is a perfect marriage. At 41mm, the case diameter of this timepiece leans on the smaller side of what I typically wear, but the presentation on the wrist looks magnificent.

Keeping with the nautical / dive them with my choice of accessory today, pairing the Aquamariner with an anchor, rope bracelet, in color obsidian, designed by Dorsal Bracelet Company. My Wrist-Game today, ready to rule the high seas! And because this is a new arrival, given my self-imposed, 48-hour minimum break-in period, you're already looking at my watch-of-the-day choice for Monday!
