What's my wrist-wear choice for today?
My Flavor Of The Day

My Wednesday selection, is a new arrival to the collection, and one of the watches I had on my must-have list for 2019, the TSAO Baltimore, Torsk - Diver; as they say, better late than never.
There are a few things I love about the TSAO Baltimore brand. First, the brand is a homegrown Microbrand from the State of Maryland. And being a lifelong Marylander myself, I'm glad to be able to support a local business for my hobby pursuits. Having owned the first TSAO Baltimore timepiece, the Founder's Limited Edition, I knew that the Torsk - Diver would be a solid effort; and TSAO Baltimore did not disappoint.
I opted for the version with the Bronze case, Midnight Blue Dial and Bezel. The piece is solid in every way possible. The fit-and-finish on this piece is superb, with the applied, baton index markers, providing the perfect dial presentation. The Red silhouette of the Torsk Submarine, and Red arrow tip of the constant running second-hand, offers the perfect splash of contrast color on the dial. The Torsk offers the perfect dial and bezel look.
There were two straps included with the Torsk - Diver kit, a Black nylon strap, and this rich brown, leather strap. I went with the leather, because I felt it provides a very rich look to complement the Bronze case. I'll go into a more in-depth tour of this timepiece with a full review coming very soon.
Pairing the Torsk - Diver today, with a Tiger's-Eye, beaded bracelet, to play on the Brown and Bronze tones of this beautiful case and strap. And since this is my first day with the new arrival, so you already know what my Thursday WOTD will be :-).
