My Flavor Of The Day
For Friday, I'm ending the work week strong, with the Zodiac, Grandhydra. This piece is one of the newer in my stable, and it was definitely love at first sight. This is my first Zodiac in a few decades, unbelievably, and I can't even muster a good reason as to why.
This timepiece is aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The ultra-clean Black dial, perfectly frames pops of Orange and Blue highlights within the dial, which originate from the chapter ring and index markers. The case and bracelet, a mixture of polished and brushed surfaces, gives this Zodiac a very elegant look, but not too over-the-top, as to relegate it exclusively to the dress watch sect; either way, dressed-up, or dressed-down, this piece will look exquisite, and make a statement all its own. I've got a full review planned for this beauty in the near future, so stay tuned.
Pairing the Grandhydra today, with some additional polished bling, in the form of a minimalist, Hematite stone bracelet, designed by Aurum Brothers. The bracelet providing a nice complement to the bracelet and dial simultaneously.
