It's a Tourby Thursday today, as my WOTD selection, is the Stuhrling Original, Devilray Tourbillon. This is a piece that is definitely a showcase piece within my collection, and it has everything to do with the Tourbillon complication.
A tourbillon is simply one of those must-have complications for any collection. And while the Swiss-Made versions are considered more technically superior, with regards to design and engineering, This Asian, manual-wind Tourby, is still a technical marvel, and takes its place as one of the favorite showpieces within my current collection.
The Bronze / Brass case is the perfect housing for the Brown, Copper, and Salmon dial. With the machined engraving on the dial, serving as the perfect frame to showcase the Tourbillon escapement. This timepiece exudes class!
Matching the Devilray today, with a Tiger's-Eye bracelet, perfectly capturing all of the soft, muted tones of the timepiece and dial.
