Watch of the day (WOTD)

What's my wrist-wear choice for today?

My Flavor Of The Day

WOTD wrist-shot of the 1970, vintage, King Seiko. Paired with a Dorsal Bracelet Co., beaded bracelet, in color Pose.
Vintage King Seiko, Circa 1970

I couldn't have picked a better Saturday to debut my first Seiko Saturday submission in many months, as this is probably the best morning of the year, with plenty of sunshine, perfect temps, and just the slightest breeze; with all that beautiful, the King Seiko fits right in.

I'm so glad I pulled the trigger on this vintage piece, as this was a great way to give myself an introduction to the higher-end line of Seiko timepieces, without breaking the bank. If anything, it has wet my appetite even more, for a modern-day Grand Seiko, with the Spring Drive movement. The vintage pieces continue to impress me, as the smoothness and accuracy of the movements are incredible, given that the pieces are nearly as old as I am, LOL.

To further complement this fabulous dial, I've paired the King Seiko with a stone, beaded bracelet, in color variation Pose, designed by Dorsal Bracelet Company, the metal spacer providing a nice play against the raised index markers. The vintage pieces are definitely increasing my Wrist-Game style quotient.
