It's Sunday fun-day, and this day is even more fun with the Omega, Geneve - Dynamic on the wrist. With this current pandemic, and being starved for live sports in any fashion, I'm actually looking forward to tuning-in to the Nascar race today; so I guess it makes sense to go with a racing-themed timepiece?
I'm ecstatic over finding this vintage model within the Omega line, and in such excellent condition. This timepiece exemplifies the beauty of the watch collecting hobby, as there is something new to discover everyday, even throughout the established brands. This Omega has definitely jump-started my desire to acquire more quality vintage timepieces.
It is always a pleasure to see iconic designs revived, as recently I've seen new incarnations of this Geneve - Dynamic racing dial, incorporated within newer Omega Speedmaster models; what's old is definitely new again.
As an Orioles baseball fan, I truly am a sucker for any variation of Orange & Black, Orange & Gray, and Orange & White, so I wasn't upset by finding this Omega in the aforementioned color scheme. Complementing the dial, I've paired the timepiece with a custom-crafted bracelet, designed by Beads By Gonzo, making this a dynamic wrist combo, to say the least.
