For my Monday WOTD, staying with a racing theme, by strapping on the Tsikolia, GT40 Racing Chronograph. I'm extra-pumped to wear this piece today, as I just completed a self-install, of a horsepower and powertrain upgrade on my ride; so a fast timepiece to match my fast car, LOL.
All kidding aside, this timepiece is one of the best looking, racing-themed timepieces that I've personally experienced. Tsikolia did a fantastic job of emulating various design aspects of the Ford GT40 race car, within the design engineering of this timepiece. The result is a chronograph dial that provides amazing clarity and visibility, and a robust pop of color. The leather, perforated racing strap on this piece is absolutely stunning, utilizing a sandwich design to provide additional color in-lays, and colors that complement the dial. The big-date complication is essentially the cherry on top of this beautiful timepiece.
