My Flavor Of The Day
We've all heard of, and experienced the Monday blues, but Wednesday, hump-day, gets it's fair share of the blues as well. Nothing chases my blues away faster, than wearing a timepiece with plenty of color, to brighten my mood. My WOTD choice is the Phoibus, Submariner, Blue on Blue (Blue bezel / Blue dial), a color combination known in watch circles as the "Smurf".
The positive buzz in the watch community, regarding the Phoibus brand, is well-warranted, as this Phoibus timepiece is one of the best built timepieces I've come across, especially at the sub $200 price level. Solid construction all around, what you'd expect out of a true tool watch, and dependable daily wearer; believe the hype about the Phoibus brand. There will most certainly be more Phoibus watches added to my collection in the near future.
I think Papa Smurf would be proud of my Wrist-Game today, as I've paired the Phoibus Smurf, with a color-matched, custom bracelet, crafted by Beads By Gonzo. My Wrist-Game, sure to make all the Smurfs in Smurfland, Blue with envy, LOL.
