Watch of the day (WOTD)
What's my wrist-wear choice for today?
My Flavor Of The Day

For my Sunday WOTD, I'm keeping it Russian with the 1980's, Molnija Chemical Warrior. This is one of those timepieces that puts a smile on my face, each time it comes back up within my wearing rotation; it's like a pleasant surprise.
This timepiece falls more into the field watch category of military inspired timepieces, although it has a Big Pilot feel to it. The mix of dial colors, and dial lay-out, especially the radioactive symbol as the 9 o'clock sub-second indicator, is extremely eye-catching. The addition of the aftermarket, leather Bund strap, accentuates the military look, and raises the comfort level of this timepiece on the wrist 10-fold!
The Chemical Warrior was one of my most anticipated purchases of 2019, and it definitely lived up to my expectations. I look forward to placing another order again soon with Vostok Exchange, the only downside, they use standard shipping from Ukraine. And with the diminished amount of international flights currently, given the pandemic, shipping transit times are taking longer than usual; and they were already extremely long, originating from that part of the world.
Pairing the Chemical Warrior today, with a beaded bracelet, crafted by Dorsal Bracelet Company, in color SoHo, complementing perfectly the mix of light and dark tones within the strap and dial.
