For Wednesday, my hump-day selection is the Zodiac Grandhydra. This is probably my 4th Zodiac experience, throughout my years of collecting, and this piece is definitely the sleekest and sexiest Zodiac timepiece of them all. As a matter of fact, this Zodiac is a front-runner for sexiest timepiece, within my current stable of watches.
Aesthetically, the lines on this Grandhydra are about as perfect as you'll find on any timepiece. Squarish, cushion case with a round dial, and slightly domed crystal, help lend to the vintage look of this timepiece. The tapered, three link bracelet is super comfortable and serves as the perfect complement to the angular case design. Fantastic mix of polished and brushed services on this piece, providing just the right amount of POP on the wrist.
With watches, the dial is usually the main focal point, and the Grandhydra is no exception. The matte Black dial serves as the optimal frame for the White index markers, Orange dial accents and Orange seconds-hand, and powder Blue chapter ring; the result, a stunning visual look, rivaling the most expensive luxury watch brands.
