Watch of the day (WOTD)
What's my wrist-wear choice for today?
My Flavor Of The Day

Friday, has me sliding towards the weekend with another fantastic Maryland microbrand, the Hager Watches, Aquamariner, based out of Hagerstown, MD. This timepiece is a solid, daily, tool watch. At first feel, I was blown away, and impressed at how well constructed this timepiece is.
Through the years, I've probably owned multiple dozen interpretations of the classic submariner watch style. In this case, Hager Watches decided to draw inspiration from both the classic Rolex Submariner, and it's blood relative, the Tudor Black Bay. The way in which this mash-up was done, is subtle enough to give you a sense of familiarity, yet having an air of uniqueness; it just works.
The bracelet on the Aquamariner is top-notch as well, and has one of the best-engineered, slide-adjustments on the clasp, rivaling the Rolex Glidelock; this ensures a perfect fit and wear on the wrist.
A wonderful diver, requires an equally great wrist accessory. My pairing selection, a Hammerhead, rope bracelet, crafted by Dorsal Bracelet Company, a complement to the subtle Red accents on the bezel and dial.
