My Flavor Of The Day
Closing out my busy work week, and sliding into the eve of the upcoming weekend with my Friday choice, the Vostok, Amphibia, Radio Room Mod. Where to start, with what I love about this timepiece?
The dial is, in a word, amazing! I was initially leaning toward finding a Red and White Radio Room dial, as my first Radio Room timepiece. But the Red and Black, as the background to the white numerals and index markers, definitely gives this dial extraordinary POP! Add the matching bezel insert, with saw-tooth, polished edges, polished stainless steel case, contrasted against the polished, Black PVD, shark mesh bracelet, and this timepiece is a real showpiece. A modification that shows a great deal of forethought by the modder, as to how the different, added components would compliment one another.
With Red and Black used as prominent color themes, and focal points of the timepiece, I carried that same theme into my accessory choice, a custom-designed bracelet, crafted by Beads By Gonzo. In this particular case, Eastern European collusion, is a good thing.
