What's my wrist-wear choice for today?
My Flavor Of The Day

On this beautiful hump day start, I figured I'd give the vintage, Zenith Surf, another turn on my wrist today. In 2019, I made a conscious decision to add more variety to my collection. And one of the areas in which my collection, and general knowledge base could grow, was in the area of vintage timepieces. Since then, I've added three, true vintage pieces, and one piece that is considered a vintage, resto-mod. Of my true vintage watches, I feel I've built a solid foundation to start, and this Zenith Surf is definitely a killer addition to my vintage wing.
The case and bezel design of this 70's era Surf, still survives today in many of the modern-day Zenith Defy designs; so that says something about the classic, timeless design of the Surf, literally transcending decades. I love the simplistic beauty of this Zenith Surf. The case and dial of this piece is set-off, and stands-out even more, with the addition of the Blue-dyed, Alligator-embossed, leather strap.
Between the case, dial, and strap, I had to find an accessory that could truly complement such visually striking aspects. Mission accomplished, with the addition of the Murtoo Bracelet Company, bangle-style bracelet. My Wrist-Game today, classic vintage, with modern POP!
