Thursday, marks the first day away from the grind, and start of a much-needed, family mini-vacation. With everything going on in the world, I felt it was a necessity for the family to get-away from the everyday, stress and strife, that has been associated with this ongoing pandemic situation. For a small moment in time, my everyday worries of protecting myself and my family against Covid-19, can be replaced by the concern of trying to decide what timepieces to take on vacation; never an easy decision, LOL.
For travel day, the custom-modded, Boctok Amphibian gets the call. This piece is extraordinary, and could easily suffice as a daily wearer within any collection. The hands, dial, and bezel choice was well thought-out by the modder, but the Orange colors against the matte Black, just POP! And the addition of the Engineer bracelet, was another winning decision by the modder, giving this piece both balance and comfort on the wrist.
