Thursday's wrist-candy selection, is the Gruppo Gamma, Divemaster 500. The sandwich, gradient Blue dial on this piece is near perfection, and is one of the more exceptionally executed fumee dials I've seen.
Case construction is top-notch also, with the size of the case hitting my wearing sweet spot at 44mm. The angular lug design, affords an ultra-comfortable wearing experience on the wrist. The bezel complements the dial perfectly, with the readability and legibility superb, and showcasing Blue lume that's off the charts!
The canvas strap, while not an instant favorite of mine, has grown on me with each wearing; though, I'm pretty sure a strap upgrade will soon be on the horizon. Pairing the Divemaster 500 today, with Dorsal Bracelet Company's, two-year, anniversary bracelet. The electric-Blue Sea Turtle makes for a fabulous wrist companion to the Divemaster, complementing the ocean theme of the timepiece.
