Watch of the day (WOTD)

What's my wrist-wear choice for today?

My Flavor Of The Day

WOTD wrist-shot of the Timex Q. Paired with a color-matched, Malachite bracelet, designed by Monooc Gifts for Men.
Timex Q

Friday has me closing out my work week, with the Timex Q - Reissue. I was so excited to finally pull the trigger on this vintage-inspired piece, and my first Timex owned since I was a kid. Arguably, you wont find a more iconic watch brand, through the 1970's and 1980's than Timex.

This piece immediately brought back fond memories of the watches my Dad use to own, me waiting impatiently for nightfall, just to get a glimpse of the lume properties of his timepieces; it was mesmerizing. To illicit those type of vivid memories, you know Timex hit the mark with this vintage recreation. Timex decided to use the bi-color bezels for this model, and along with the case design, and expandable-look and feel of the bracelet, this piece is an absolute home-run, and screams vintage! For my bezel choice, I decided on the Kermit, as Green is one of those colors that traditionally hasn't been represented too often within my collection.

Accessorizing the Q today, with a Malachite stone bracelet, designed by Monooc Gifts for Men, and couldn't find a more perfect color complement to the Q. Takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'; with this look, why wouldn't you want it to?
