Watch of the day (WOTD)

What's my wrist-wear choice for today?

My Flavor Of The Day

Hager Watch, Aquamariner Diver

Sunday marks another opportunity to be reacquainted with the Hager Aquamariner. This is another great Maryland microbrand that punches well above its weight class, with a build quality easily rivaling many brands, that are many multiple times the Aquamariner's price point.

With the Aquamariner, I like that on the surface, it has the classic submariner look, but upon closer inspection, there's a little something that sets it apart. That little something is the perfectly seamless meshing of design-build inspiration from the Submariner and Black Bay. The result, is a submariner that looks like it could actually be functional as a true tool watch, but still stylish and flexible enough to be worn as a daily wearer.

No gaps or slop where the end-link meets the case. No squeaks or rattles with a cheaply made bracelet; you can literally feel the quality of this piece when in-hand, and on the wrist. The Aquamariner could be that one, everyday watch, that collectors often fantasize about; it's that good.

Staying nautical with my accessory choice today for the Aquamariner, opting for an anchor, rope bracelet, in color Obsidian. My Wrist-Game today, with this combination, mastering the high-seas!
