Watch of the day (WOTD)
What's my wrist-wear choice for today?
My Flavor Of The Day

Another glorious hump day, and this particular Wednesday, finds the vintage, Zenith Surf back on my wrist. I must say that I'm truly pleased with the state of my growing (slow but steady) vintage watch collection.
For me, finding the right vintage piece, takes a calculated, coordinated search effort. While I love the retro look that a vintage piece affords, I'm not big on wearing a timepiece that looks as if it's about to fall apart. Not that I'm expecting every vintage find to be NOS (new, old stock), but it definitely must be in good, wearable condition, to pass my acceptance standards. This Zenith Surf obviously checks all of my vintage boxes, and then some!
The dial and case are design classics on this Surf, with Zenith still utilizing many of these same design cues today, within their modern collections. Almost any strap could have worked with this vintage beauty, but the Blue strap is amazing, and just makes the entire piece stand-out on the wrist. Each of my vintage acquisitions has raised the bar from the previous, so I'm definitely excited of the possibilities to come.
The clean stainless and popping Blue combination works for the timepiece, so why not use that same winning combo for my accessory choice? Pairing the Zenith Surf today, with a stainless steel, bangle style bracelet, designed by the Murtoo Bracelet Company, which provides the perfect complement to the Surf.
