My Flavor Of The Day
For my Tuesday WOTD, I welcome in a new arrival to my collection, the Phoibus Submariner. It's always exciting to acquire a new timepiece, and especially when you're able to find a watch that fills a specific want (no needs in the watch hobby) within your collection.
The Phoibus checks-off a lot of boxes for me; it's a perfect Colts Blue on the dial and bezel, as a sport watch, it's in that 43mm sweet spot, which makes it an extremely easy wear, and as a quartz piece, it's always grab-n-go ready!
Phoibus is another one of those brands that has been on my short list to try. As I always say, don't dismiss or knock quartz timepieces, as they afford you an excellent opportunity to get into many brands, without the excessive outlay of cash. For the price, well sub $200, this Phoibus seems very solid in every single way; we'll see how she holds-up over time.
With this color of radiant Blue on the dial and bezel, my choice for accessorizing this timepiece was pretty clear, opting for my Colts-themed, custom bracelet, designed by Beads By Gonzo. I'm pretty sure this timepiece will become my go to timepiece for Colts Football Sundays.
