Watch of the day (WOTD)
What's my wrist-wear choice for today?
My Flavor Of The Day
For Monday, starting my week off with one of the true gems within my collection. And proof that it isn't necessarily the most expensive timepiece, that can be a collection favorite.
The Laco, Atlantic, Pilot Chronograph may very well be the most balanced, pilot chronograph I've every owned, from any brand. And by balance, I'm referring to the dial, showcasing perfectly sized and placed chronograph registers. For any Flieger or Pilot Watch, dial clarity and legibility is key, and as you can clearly see, the Laco, Atlantic has both. The only down-side to this piece, was that it originally shipped on an Olive Green NATO strap, which felt very cheap in quality. I made the decision to change the NATO to a Geckota, Vintage, riveted Flieger strap, instantly giving this piece a more authentic Flieger look; not to mention, enhancing the overall look of the timepiece, with a strap that better matches the quality, and fit-and-finish of the timepiece.
Matching this beautiful Pilot Chrono today, with a custom made, bracelet, designed by Beads By Gonzo, which serves as the perfect Wing Man to a killer combination.
