My Flavor Of The Day
For Thursday, winding down the work week with my foot on the gas pedal, racing chronograph on my wrist, heading toward Friday and the weekend. Today, sporting my WOTD selection, the Tsikolia, GT40 Racing Chronograph, Limited Edition. This timepiece is arguably the best tribute to the Ford GT40 racecar I've ever come across, and is even up there in ranking, as the best Gulf Racing tribute watch, ever!
Tsikolia's use of colors, and dial configuration used on this piece, is simply eye-popping, and was my immediate draw to the timepiece. It seems Tsikolia made a deliberate effort to incorporate and engineer, as much of the GT40's design cues, both subtle, and not so subtle, into this timepiece; a requisite for a tribute watch. And the effort results in a very unique timepiece, that looks like nothing else available within the watch market. Everything is just so with the GT40, with even the perforated, leather racing strap, being a multi-layered, color-infused masterpiece.
Drafting the Tsikolia racer today, is a marine grade, rope bracelet, designed by Roplet UK, which has my Wrist-Game today, vying for a spot in the winner's circle.
