My Friday watch-of-the-day, the Vostok, Amphibian - Radio Room Mod, has become an instant favorite within my collection. And from this photo, it's easy to see why. The modder smartly used the polished surfaces of the case and bracelet, in different finishes (stainless vs. PVD), to match the surface contrasts displayed on the bezel and bezel insert. The result is a very dramatic presentation, which only helps to accentuate the killer, radio room dial.
There's no question, watch modding, while it's been around for years, has really become a booming cottage industry unto itself. And there is no limit to the looks and enhancements, performed by the modding artists, who are only bound by their imaginations. I always wanted to add a Radio Room timepiece to my collection, but never imagined I would get the opportunity to add a Radio Room piece with this much pop and personality.
