Watch of the day (WOTD)
What's my wrist-wear choice for today?
My Flavor Of The Day

Saturday felt like a good day for a Flieger style timepiece. And my selection is the Laco, Atlantic - Chronograph. As a Pilot watch, this Laco checks all of the requisite boxes; stark dial to index marker contrast, clean dial presentation, and fantastic lume.
Out of the box, the quality of this Laco timepiece is unmistakable. Excellent fit-and-finish all the way around, save the olive green nylon, NATO strap that was included. The NATO strap was definitely a cheapie, which I quickly swapped-out for the Geckota, vintage Flieger strap, on which the watch currently resides. The Brown vintage strap, complete with rivets, gives this Laco, a true "Pilot" look.
I'm a big fan of a Brown leather strap, contrasting against the black dial on a Pilot; just my personal preference. And further playing on the Brown tones of the strap, is the additon of a SoHo bracelet, crafted by Dorsal Bracelet Company. Visually, the Dorsal accessory, proving to be the perfect wingman to the Laco, Atlantic.
