Watch of the day (WOTD)
What's my wrist-wear choice for today?
My Flavor Of The Day

Forgoing my usual Blue timepiece today for Colts Football Sunday, for another Pilot. Today, I'm rolling with the Bulova, Lunar Pilot, Special Edition. Known in watch collecting circles as the "other" moonwatch, the Lunar Pilot is creating a cult following, all its own.
The dial on the Lunar Pilot is about as clean as it gets for a chronograph. White numerals and index markers, against a flat, Black, matte dial, affords a stark contrast. Pilot watch dials should be clearly seen, and this is not a problem for the Lunar Pilot.
The multi-level dial also provides incredible depth, with the dial platform raised slightly above the minute / second hash-mark track, and chronograph sub-dials. The tachymeter scale is also unique, in that is is placed on the top-tier of the dial, and not on the bezel, as is the case for the majority of sport chronograph designs; this dial set-up provides the most optimal visual presentation, much more so than that "other" moonwatch.
Pairing the Lunar Pilot today, with some space rock, volcanic rock specifically, in the form of a Premium, natural lava stone bracelet, designed by Aurum Brothers. The combination, providing a wrist-look,and Wrist-Game, that is truly out of this world!
