My Flavor Of The Day
Whether consciously or subconsciously, I've been on a "Pilot" binge these past few days, and that continues with my Monday watch-of-the-day, in the form of the Zeno-Watch Basel, Pilot. Since I neglected to wear a Blue themed piece yesterday, for Colts Football Sunday, I most certainly had to make up for that faux pas on a Colts victory Monday.
This Zeno-Watch Basel Pilot is such a unique timepiece, as I have never owned another pilot watch like it; the one-hand, 12-hour movement, is definitely something you don't see everyday. The White on Blue dial color is the perfect tribute to my Colts, with the addition of the color-matched NATO strap, being the cherry on top. The polished accents on the case, dresses this piece up slightly, without it being placed firmly into the category of a dress watch.
This Zeno-Watch Basel has a classic, round case design, with pumpkin crown, pretty much requisites of a pilot watch. Though the 12-hour display is a bit of an oxymoron for a "Pilot", as time telling from the cockpit, could bit a bit challenging with this dial configuration.
Adding to the Blue and White delight, is a custom-crafted beaded bracelet, designed by Beads By Gonzo; proving that both my Wrist-Game, and team spirit are undeniable.
