Watch of the day (WOTD)
What's my wrist-wear choice for today?
My Flavor Of The Day

For Turkey Day, I chose to wear a timepiece which is arguably the most Autumnal themed timepiece, within my collection; aside from perhaps my Devilray Tourbillon. Alpina is a brand that I've always wanted to experience, and although it took me a few years to finally pull the trigger on one, I'm glad I did.
The fit-and-finish, and quality of this timepiece, truly lives up to the "Geneve" designation on the dial; an expectation that the craftsmanship of this timepiece will be second-to-none. I could literally feel the quality of this piece, as soon as I removed this watch from the presentation packaging.
The play between the index numerals, dial, muted sand, tan, and brown colors, and mix of polished and brushed stainless steel surfaces, gives this timepiece a classic, timeless look. I also favor the "big pilot" case size, giving this Aviator watch plenty of readability and wrist presence.
Matching the soft color tones of this Alpina with a Dorsal Bracelet Company, SoHo bracelet, which offers a nice complementary look on the wrist.
