What's my wrist-wear choice for today?
My Flavor Of The Day

For Monday, racing through my day, with the McDowell Time, Maxton Chronograph. This is another one of those, love-at-first-sight pieces for me. And this example specifically, with the Blue dial, orange accents, and Honey Brown, 3-hole, Horween Leather racing strap, is a fantastic representation of a vintage racing chronograph.
The timepiece screams racer, and sport chronograph in every way. I absolutely love the square case, with round bezel, another vintage nod. The Maxton also has a universally wearable case diameter at 39mm, which is usually a case diameter that's way to small for me, and my particular wearing tastes. But the square case definitely gives this timepiece greater presence on the wrist, affording a larger look.
The cherry on top, the buttery-soft, Horween Leather racing strap. This strap required zero break-in period, and the Honey Brown color is a perfect match for the orange accents on the dial. And what better bracelet for a racing chronograph, than a racing strap? The strap definitely finishes the look.
Drafting the Maxton on my wrist today, is a custom-crafted, racing-inspired bracelet, designed by Beads By Gonzo, sure to have my Wrist-Game combo today, taking 1st and 2nd place in the winner's circle.
