Watch of the day (WOTD)

What's my wrist-wear choice for today?

My Flavor Of The Day

Tsikolia, GT40 Racing Chronograph, Limited Edition

Tuesday, still finds me in a racing mood, so following-up Monday's Maxton Chronograph, with choosing the Tsikolia, GT40 Racing Chronograph, Limited Edition. I'm an admitted mark for the stunning color combination that is Orange and light Blue. Whether Monaco, Gulf Racing, or Martini Racing, Blues and Oranges offer some of the most striking, and iconic color schemes in the history of watches.

Once again, the pop of colors on the GT40 called-out to me from the watchbox, much like the very first time I saw this timepiece. And this is one of those watches that evokes feelings of pure joy, from the very moment the piece is strapped on the wrist. As a chronograph, the dial is busy, but the smart use of Gulf Racing colors, throughout the various dial components, really makes this dial a joy to look at. There is nothing at all "off the shelf" regarding the engineering and build design of this timepiece. This watch has one of the best, color-coordinated, perforated racing straps, that I've every seen and worn.

Keeping the racing theme going, with the inclusion of a marine-grade, rope bracelet, which also sports Gulf-Racing, presenting another winning combination for my Wrist-Game today!
