Watches of the day

What's My Wrist-Wear Choice for Today?

My Flavor of the Day

Invicta Reserve, Dubois Depraz, Speedway, Automatic Chronograph

For Friday, I started the day with a watch that is one of the crown jewels within my collection, the Invicta Reserve, Dubois Depraz, Speedway, Automatic Chronograph. There are so many special details with this watch, the movement used is not your everyday, run-of-the-mill movement, so it definitely has an exclusivity factor that few watches within my collection can match.

Pairing this watch with a yak bone beaded bracelet, infused with copper, that is supposed to have healing properties. Well not sure if it did anything for my health, but it definitely gave a boost to my wrist game

Spinnaker, Bradner, SP-5057, Vintage, Diver

The Fed Ex guy came bearing gifts, so I made an obligatory afternoon switch to the Spinnaker, Bradner, SP-5057, Vintage Diver. This was a much anticipated acquisition, and it did not disappoint. Exceptional dial lay-out, bi-directional rotating internal bezel, and perfect case size at 42 mm. An overall top-notch presentation.

I decided to pair the Spinnaker, Bradner, Vintage Diver with an Aurum Brother's, Minimalist Hematite beaded bracelet playing off the darker elements of the bezel and strap.
